Your adventure begins in Guwahati, Assam, from where you'll embark on a picturesque journey to Trashigang.

* Day 1 (April 2nd): Guwahati to Samdrup Jongkhar:  A 3-4 hour drive through Assam's verdant landscapes brings you to Samdrup Jongkhar, the gateway to Bhutan. After completing immigration formalities, settle into your hotel and explore the local market.

* Day 2 (April 3rd): Samdrup Jongkhar to Trashigang:  Embark on a scenic 6-7 hour drive through winding mountain roads, stopping at Wamrong for tea and visiting the Khaling Handloom Center to witness traditional weaving. Arrive in Trashigang, check into your hotel, and prepare for the Rhododendron Week festivities.
Rhododendron Week: A Celebration of Nature and Culture (April 3rd-9th)

* Day 3 (April 3rd): Arrival and Welcome:  A traditional welcome ceremony with music, dance, and local delicacies kicks off the week's celebrations.

* Day 4 (April 4th): Rhododendron Walks and Trashigang Dzong:  Explore the Rhododendron Nature Park, immersing yourself in a world of colorful blooms. In the afternoon, visit the majestic Trashigang Dzong, a 17th-century fortress offering panoramic views.

* Day 5 (April 5th): Red Panda Trail Trek (Part 1):  Begin your trek along the stunning Red Panda Trail, hoping to spot the elusive red panda and other wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the rhododendrons and camp overnight near a mountain stream.
